Science or sixth sense?

Cats may have 9 lives, but here’s one with 6 senses. 2-year old Oscar lives in an old folks home, and seems to have an uncanny knowledge of when someone is about to snuff it.  He’s been seen curling up to patients who died shortly after no less than 25 times, which is quite the strike rate. Be it biochemistry or clairvoyance, Oscar knows something the doctors dont. So if you live at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre and he comes to purr and rub up against your leg, it may well be time to say your goodbyes.

I’d like that cat to meet some people I know…

I hate to be a skeptic, but...O.K., I love to be a skeptic, but that notwithstanding...the doomed my themselves realize it either consciously or not and may turn extremely cat friendly as a result. That or ghosts, since cats can see ghosts and ghosts are always trying to be helpful.

Before long, you will have residents screaming, “Keep that cat away from me!!”

Okay, maybe I have too great a love of cats and too poor and understanding of aging; but I think it would be kind of nice to know that I was in my last moments and that some lovely furry creature was there by my side.

And if I was that person’s family, I’d be even more interested in this cat’s particular skills

I wonder if there is any connection between this and stories of cats being present when babies have died from crib death. The old wives’ tale was that cats were sucking the breath out of babies, but maybe the cats know something is wrong in advance.

Lets remember egyptians had a fascination with cats, hence the The lioness-goddess! And look at Tee Cee, he is.... regardless of anything anyone says a very special animal! And to his owner with serious epilepsy a life saver… on a daily basis! If someone can explain how Tee Cee does what he does i’m all ears???
