A bear of very little brain

Humans are meant to be afraid of bears, not the other way around. That’s the theory. The reality is a little different, of course. This bear from the town of Truckee, California, got spooked by a couple of cars while crossing Rainbow Bridge, and made the snap (slightly illadvised) decision to leap over the parapet to escape. This left it hanging from the underside of the bridge for a good 24 hours until it was rescued and lowered safely to the ground.
