By day, Quinn Dombrowski (pictured here in a photo by Sam Bowman) juggles faculty projects and student assistants as part of the University of Chicago's central IT staff. By night, she's a digital Slavist, cooking up visualizations of Bulgarian dialect data or remixing reference works on Old Church Slavonic.
Quinn lives a second secret life as a photographer, and she’s taken at least one photo of random beauty every day since August 29, 2007. In addition to UofC library graffiti, Quinn also photographs amusing South Asian book covers.
She lives in a small Chicago apartment with one husband, two cats, 20-ish plants, and around 3,000 books.
