Melinda Wenner

Melinda is a freelance science writer based in Brooklyn, New York. After working in England for a biotech company for a few years, it dawned on her that her true calling was as a journalist, so she moved to New York City to enroll in NYU's science writing program. She graduated in 2006 and then worked briefly for Seed magazine before deciding to freelance, which she loves because she can work all day in her pajamas (and usually does). In addition to Inkling, Melinda also writes for Wired, Scientific American, Popular Science, Slate and Nature.
