Joe Treen

A scientist, he is not. He is usually described as a “veteran” newsman which annoys him no end. Truth be told, Treen has worked as a reporter, writer, editor and overseas correspondent for newspapers (Newsday, The Boston Globe) and magazines (Newsweek, People, Discover) since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House. He lucked into this writing gig because he knows Anne Casselman, one of the founders of Inkling. (In fact, that’s why he’s getting paid big bucks and the other writers aren’t.) P.S. He’s a lot older than he looks.
