Lesly Lopez-Skinner

Lesly Anne Lopez-Skinner is a scientist and writer living amidst the Appalachian Mountains with her husband Heath and two parrots, Georgie and Gigli. She completed her graduate work in genetics and molecular biology with a focus on antioxidants and cancer therapeutics. She often feels left out as the sole biologist in a family of chemists. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and teaching her parrots to dance in beat with the click of keyboard taps.
