Khalil A. Cassimally

Khalil A. is an 18-year-old student who is currently hanging out between secondary school and university. He lives on a small island in the Indian Ocean called Mauritius. And, yes, he does enjoy the beautiful sea and the warm temperature. He loves writing and science, so it made perfect sense to him to write about science. He writes a science column for independent website backwash, called Not Scientific Science, which is syndicated at an external website of the BBC. He is an avid blogger and totally likes the reader-writer relationship that the blogging world makes possible. Like most young adults, Khalil A. is also interested in music, mostly alternative and slow rock and his all-time favorite band is Britain's KEANE. Apart from music, he also enjoys drama. He has been on stage a couple of times and even got his very first decent pay thanks to Shakespeare. Khalil A. actually hates writing about himself because he tends to get carried away with the self-eulogies but a good way to know a little more about him is to google him up. And, oh yeah, he almost forgot to say that he loves his mom. She probably made him say this. All in all, this guy is just a geek.
