Katie Yoshida

Katie is a Vancouverite who made frequent trips to Science World as a child. She completed her undergraduate studies in Montreal and now stocks up on Montreal bagels by the hundred. Katie is currently working on a PhD in developmental psychology at the University of British Columbia, where she researches babies’ music preferences and whether they are influenced by the language that they hear. She is also studying whether the spelling of words in a language can influence the thought patterns of people who speak that language. While she adores the constant challenge of academia, Katie plans to graduate someday soon, open a clothing boutique, and become fantastically rich.
